1- Establishment of the Nursing Education Department
Thinking began to establish the Department of Nursing Education as a result of reviewing the programs offered at the global and local levels, as well as to satisfy the competitive situation of the college, as it is one of the disciplines offered by the Nursing Sector Committee.
The establishment of the Department of Nursing Education aims to contribute to the process of preparing and developing manpower and works to achieve important aspects of the overall goal and the general goals of the educational system in the college and the goals of higher education in the light of the central philosophy of the country.
The proposal to establish the Department of Nursing Education was presented to the Curriculum Development Committee at the Faculty of Nursing, Cairo University in its session held on 20/5/2014, where the establishment was approved, followed by the approval of the College Council held on 12/6/2014. The regulation was amended by adding the Nursing Education Department. These decisions were crowned by Ministerial Resolution No. 4659 dated 5/11/2015.
It has moved to the department the faculty members from the Medical Surgical Nursing Department, Prof. Amal Fakhry, full-time professor, Assist. Prof. Hoda Ezzat Abdel-Raouf, Lecturer / Amany Salama, and Lecturer/ Mona Mohamed Samir. The department began to exercise its duties by appointing an acting head of the department on 2/3/2017. Then the formation of the department council, which was approved by the college council on 3/8/2017 to hold the first department council on 3/27/2017.
Then, the assistant lecturer / Sameh Al-Sayed and the assistant lecturer / Amira Abdel Azim joined the department, and at the beginning of the academic year 2017/2018, the lecturer / Lamia Mohamed Nabil joined the departmen
