A presidential decree was issued appointing Dr. Fatima Abed as Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Cairo University
Dr.. Elkhosht directs the dean to implement the policies of fifth generation universities, expand joint and double degrees with the most prestigious international universities, and work in accordance with international standards.
Dr. Mohamed Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, congratulated Dr. Fatima Abed on the occasion of the issuance of the presidential decree appointing her as Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, wishing her further success in developing the faculty and advancing it at the educational, administrative, and research levels within the framework of the strategic plan of the university and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Khasht directed Dr. Fatima Abed to carry out several tasks, the most important of which are implementing the policies of fifth generation universities, advancing all sectors of the college, expanding the holding of joint and double academic degrees with international universities with an advanced ranking in prestigious international classifications, working in accordance with international standards, and actively contributing to Presidential initiatives and national projects.
The President of Cairo University stressed the necessity of working as one team at the college, which reflects the stability of the educational and research process within the college and working according to a future plan and vision that keeps pace with the requirements of the university and its strategic plan (2021-2025) and the strategic plan of the Ministry of Higher Education, and the continuous development of the educational and research process and serving development and community issues. Reaching local and international quality standards.
It is worth noting that the Faculty of Nursing at Cairo University recently obtained international accreditation from the German Accreditation Authority (AHPGS), where Dr. Mohamed Elkhosht received the accreditation body’s delegation, and the meeting discussed the great importance of Cairo University, its scientific capabilities, the Faculty of Nursing at the university, and its direct impact since its inception and work on all faculties of nursing, and that Many of its professors work in many colleges of nursing in various universities in Egypt, the Arab world, and the Middle East. The delegation praised the academic level of the College of Nursing, its faculty members, and the efficiency of its performance, which confirms the college’s distinguished competitive position at the international level in the field of nursing.
