The Faculty of Nursing at Cairo University celebrates the graduation of the 56th batch in the presence of the Vice President of the University and a group of leaders of the Faculty and the health sector.

Dr. Ahmed Ragab stresses the importance of the nursing profession in serving and developing the Egyptian society.

Vice President of the University: Graduates of the Faculty of Nursing are qualified at the highest academic and professional level and are able to serve the health sector.

Dr. Fatima Abed, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, calls on graduates to adhere to the ethics of the nursing profession and provide health services at the highest level of efficiency and excellence.

The Faculty of Nursing at Cairo University, under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Fatima Abed, Dean of the Faculty, celebrated the graduation of the 56th batch of the Faculty, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Ragab, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, Head of the Nurses Syndicate and Member of the Senate, Dr. Sherine Ghaleb, Head of the Cairo Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Ahmed Fathy, Dean of the Technical Health Institute in Imbaba, Brigadier General Hanan Marzouk, Director of the Police Technical Health Institute Administration in Cairo, Major General Nabil Fikry, Deputy Director General of the Medical Services Sector for Police Hospitals Affairs in Giza, a number of nursing leaders in the governorates, the Faculty’s deputies, and a group of faculty members, employees, students and their families, in the Grand Celebration Hall at the Faculty of Medicine, Kasr El-Aini. The ceremony activities began with a parade of graduates in front of the hall, taking memorial photos, then the ceremony activities began with the national anthem, and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the speech of the graduating students, the speech of the dean, then the speech of the Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the speech of the Nursing Syndicate, then the speech of the College’s Deputy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, then the honoring activities and the delivery of certificates.

Dr. Ahmed Ragab, Vice President of the University, stressed in his speech the great importance of the nursing profession in serving and developing Egyptian society, directing the students to be proud of their affiliation with Cairo University, which has an advanced ranking in various prestigious international classifications, and their pride in their affiliation with the College of Nursing, which graduates distinguished cadres every year to serve the Egyptian health sector, as well as their affiliation with Egypt, the owner of the oldest civilization in history and has provided the world with arts, sciences, culture and others.

Dr. Fatima Abed expressed her pride and honor in graduating the distinguished 56th batch, stressing the importance of graduates’ commitment to the ethics of the nursing profession, and that they do their utmost to provide health services at the highest level of efficiency and excellence in order to serve the country.

Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud pointed to the continuous support provided by the Syndicate to all graduates, stressing the importance of the role of nursing in supporting the Egyptian health sector.

Dr. Sherine Ghaleb said that nursing plays an effective and important role within the health sector, pointing to the importance of cooperation between doctors, nurses and all workers in the sector in order to provide the best possible health care.

Dr. Hanan Ibrahim expressed, during her speech, her happiness and pride in the graduation of this new generation of Egyptian nursing who will provide more support to the health sector, pointing to the college’s pioneering role in graduating distinguished cadres in the nursing profession.
