Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek inaugurated the activities of the forum organized by Cairo University through the International Relations Office and Dr. Heidi Bayoumi, Director of Grants and Projects, in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Cairo and the Ministries of Health in Egypt and Italy, on climate change and its impact on health and migration.
During his speech, Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek praised the Egyptian-Italian cooperation, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to reduce the repercussions of climate change and its impact on health, noting that the forum sessions aim to contribute to providing innovative solutions to confront the harmful effects of climate change and draw a roadmap to address this phenomenon.
For her part, Mariella La Rocca, Deputy Head of the Italian Embassy Mission, pointed out that Italian universities seek to cooperate with Cairo University, which has a good academic reputation, stressing the existence of many joint activities between the two sides in the coming period.
